September Release Schedule

With the start of the NFL season, September is a busy month for the Fantasy Playoffs Predictor. I'll be updating the app no fewer than three times in September, tentatively on the following dates:
  1. Saturday, September 3
  2. Tuesday, September 13
  3. Tuesday, September 27
I'll be adding new ways to analyze league data, plus support for fantasy basketball and hockey. Let me know what you are interested in seeing. Stay tuned!

Fantasy Playoffs Predictor 2.0.2

Working on some new features with three weeks to go before the first football predictions come out... but got some user emails today reporting a bug with offline drafts. So I've pushed out another bug fix release:
  • Fixed a bug where some offline drafts would show up as "not drafted yet." Thanks to John and Dan for reporting this bug via email.
  • Fixed a bug where the current week would sometimes not show up on the magic number screen.
  • Fixed a bug where teams without an acronym would cause a crash.
Both the full version and demo are now available on Android Market.

Fantasy Playoffs Predictor 2.0.1

No new features - but fixes for two prominent bugs in 2.0 that needed attention:
  • Fixed a bug where the predictions would sometimes be sorted incorrectly while simulating, especially mid-simulation.
  • Fixed a bug introduced in 2.0 where calculating the magic numbers for a league would crash.
  • Fixed a bug introduced in 2.0 where the spinners would reset if the screen turned off while adding a new league.
Both the full version and demo - now with ESPN Fantasy Football support - are now available on Android Market.

Pizza Slice Price

Pizza Slice Price 1.0
for Android 1.6+, free

So I went to my favorite pizza shop today and noticed that 3 large slices cost more than a small pizza. I wondered how much more profitable those slices were... it took me a while, but I finally have the answer.

Hungry but watching your wallet? Pizza Slice Price lets you compare sizes and prices of slices and whole pies. Whether you're in the mood for a couple slices from a neighborhood restaurant, a 16" from a large chain, or a favorite homemade recipe, as long as it's round, you can calculate it!

Now available on Android Market.

Fantasy Playoffs Predictor 2.0

Ready for football season to begin!
  • Support for ESPN Fantasy Football!
  • Added automatic tiebreaking by points to points leagues. Points leagues with teams tied in both wins and points will still display as a tie at the end of the season, as will multi-category leagues.
  • Adjusted simulations to weight past performance more heavily. This was the result of fixing a typo which was causing past performance to be underestimated.
  • Fixed a bug where the user would initially not be able to scroll to a just-updated week.
  • Fixed a bug where the final week of the season was not being predicted in past leagues.
  • Fixed a bug where predictions were off for leagues with extremely long team names.
  • Fixed a bug where, when selecting a league, changing seasons after retrieving the league information would cause the incorrect information to be saved.
  • Fixed a bug where retrieving an update would never finish if a team had no manager.
  • Fixed a bug where leagues with no games played would display odd results.
  • Fixed a bug where incomplete league schedules might cause odd results.
Both the full version and demo are now available on Android Market.
